Kintera FundWare Fixed Assets
Track your critical assets in one convenient location.
The FundWare Fixed Assets module is designed to allow reporting on any asset using any selected criteria. Criteria can be a simple description or a detailed list. Information can be sorted or included in a report by user-defined Groups or Locations. Report inventory by location (where it is, where it's been), by person (who's had it, who's got it), by department, by date, or any other user-defined criteria. The Fixed Assets module is integrated with the FundWare General Ledger.
Reporting
The Fixed Assets module includes several standard reports such as Asset Master, History, Depreciation
Summary, and Labels. All asset fields are available to be included on reports or for sorting purposes.
Columnar reports allow the user to create additional reports containing only the information required.
Depreciation Computation
The Fixed Assets module also includes an expanded list of depreciation methods. Compute depreciation by
straight-line, double declining balance or MACRS methods.

• Record and report depreciation several ways for each asset. • Categorize assets by user definable groups, including furniture, computer equipment, or buildings. • Define separate reporting types to track different costs for each asset (original vs. replacement cost). • Group individual components for reporting purposes while calculating depreciation at the individual asset level. • Select on an individual reporting type basis whether to post cost, depreciation, or disposal using any combination you choose. • Determine the detail posted to journals from the Fixed Assets module including a description and up to three references. • Purge disposed assets on demand. |
